SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited a developer of quality products delivering living solutions to create good mornings for every customer, with Mr. Attapol Sritippayananwata, Chief Corporate Support Officer, revealing the 2019 operating results, stating that the company achieved growth and set new records in both revenue and net profit.
Total revenue was 17,787 million baht, growing 15% (YoY), with operating revenue of 17,637 million baht, up 14% (YoY), comprising 95% from sales revenue and 5% from rental and service revenue. This resulted in a net profit of 2,026 million baht, growing 13% (YoY).
Sales revenue of 16,771 million baht grew 15% (YoY), of which 11,260 million baht, or 67%, came from low-rise projects—a new record—driven by the strength of SC's housing projects covering all price ranges with strong customer response. The remaining 33% came from high-rise projects at 5,511 million baht, up 45% (YoY).
In 2019, the company recorded total sales of 14,425 million baht from 55 launched projects with a combined value of 56,200 million baht. Sales awaiting transfer, or backlog, totaled 7,388 million baht, with 65% ready for transfer this year and the remaining 35% to be transferred in 2020-2021.
As of December 31, 2019, the company and its subsidiaries had total assets and liabilities of 45,083 million baht and 27,526 million baht respectively, with shareholders' equity of 17,557 million baht, equivalent to a book value per share of 4.20 baht and earnings per share of 0.4848 baht.
Furthermore, the Board of Directors has approved the payment of a 2019 annual dividend at a rate of 0.19 baht per share, to be proposed for approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23, 2020.
